Esperto is the first barista course in Indonesia started in 2009. It is a professional, basic yet custom-designed course to train people in the coffee industry, to empower them with barista skill and knowledge to work in a cafe or successfully run a coffee business.
In 2006-2009, we run the business started as the official distributor of the Conti and Anfim brands. The demand of our customers to engage with their coffee machine was huge. So, we set a plan to give exclusive aftersales services for our customers who buy machine coffee or grinder coffee from us.
We gave them educational preferences about how to maximize their own coffee machine. As time goes by, we were encouraged to make a coffee class for public because we saw at that time the world has a new phenomenon of coffee lifestyle. We believe that coffee is not just as simple as a drink or lifestyle. Coffee is more than that; coffee for us is a craft. So no matter how good a coffee machine is used, if a barista does not have the expertise, the results will not be good.
We provide one grinder, one group head of espresso machine, and all barista tools exclusively for each student to create a productive exercise with focused and efficient time, include lectures, demonstrations and hands-on practice.
We have 4 Days Barista Regular Course, 1 Day Crash Course, 2 Days Latte Art Course, 2 Days Coffee Cupping Class, 1 Day Brewing Experience, and customized courses are available upon request. Unlimited ingridient supply, free flow coffee drink and mineral water, manual book for some classes and barista apron for 4 days regular & latte art course will be provided as our special benefit for students.
